A friend of mine bought the first version BAS 1.0 and I had a blast shooting flies on a camping trip and had to have one. I just received the 2.0 (camo) version , it is more powerful than the 1.0 and shoots them DEAD! Lots of fun.

I love my new bug assault gun, I hate flies the scourge of mankind. I might buy some for my family for Christmas. I take it camping with me in my 5th wheel trailer they do a real number on mosquitoes. Thanks the fly killer

One of the "Most Fun" purchases I've ever made. I got one as an early Christmas present and it was at the peak of the fly season. I've killed hundreds of them with no chasing or stalking required and it all cost two or three cents for ammo! I immediately bought four more to give as gifts to those I really like. Just cant wait to see how it does on carpenter bees. That will classify as "Big Game" and I'll put them arbitrarily in the Big Four category! Buy one (or five)! You'll love it!!!

Reasonably effective at up to about 12-14 inches but can eventually succeed with a few shots at greater range. Shooting is so much fun that needing a few shots is not a problem. Have not yet mastered the in-flight knockdown but looking forward to springtime. Seems to inflict no damage to surfaces, wallpaper, etc. A great fun way to get rid of household insects. Highly recommended.

The most fun you can legally have!

My son had the first Bug-A-Salt Gun I ever saw. Last September I got one as an early Christmas present because I was so enthused over it. It was near the end of the fly season and beginning of hunting season. I'm 82 now and unable to walk far enough to pursue pheasants and doves like I used to but I spent hours shooting flies off my garage door and howling in glee. I also bought four more for gifts to others. I'm anticipating Spring so that I can try it on the huge carpenter bees (the "geese" of the bug world), wasps (pheasants), hornets (doves), flies and even mosquitos. Buy one! You'll love it!

What's more fun than shooting indoors...being able to shoot something that just 'bugs' the s..t out of you, & doing it indoors! Now, I just have to figure out how to get the deer to come indoors so they can eat the salt...mmmm, now where's my 30-30?

Bug a Salt

A neat fly swatter. Haven't had a chance to try it on a fly but have used it on a few moths. I was worried about a lot of salt making a mess but that does not seem to be an issue. It sure makes my son interested in getting the flys.

My husband REALLY wanted a bug-a-salt gun. So i ordered one for Christmas. My mistake was ordering 2. I thought "oh well, my fault". It was just before Christmas and was afraid it might not arrive quick enough, it did with several days to spare( just like promised). I was expecting my hysband any minute, so i wrapped it in a hurry and stuck it under the tree. Never even opened it. I thought it was just one of the guns. So waited a few more days for the second one to arrive, when it hadnt by Dec23, I sent an email. WOW! within just a few minutes, i received a response, letting me know that both were shipped in the same box. My husband is thrilled, its exactly as advertised, and customer sevice was better than perfect!
