I had snakes in the flower beds by my foundation.... can't have that. I am amazed at how well these worked. They catch the snake within a day or two of placement. I am too cheap to buy the plastic boxes you are supposed to put these in. I cut a 16" piece of old corrugated drain pipe and put one of these glue boards in there. Ran a zip tie through holes drilled in one end and the end of the glue board and pulled tight to collapse that end and make a nice inviting little cave.

Have been using a few years and this trap never fails to catch the occasional snake that finds its way into my basement.
