Slide glue board inside Cahaba container. Position glue insert in middle of Cahaba container, leaving 7” on each end.
Place trap where snakes have been sighted along walls in the house, basements, and drop ceilings; Outside in flower beds, carports, and any place where snakes are seen.
Humane Release: The use of mineral or vegetable oil may be used to free animals from glue boards. Use caution when releasing animals and always wear protection to guard against bites, scratches or attacks from animals.

I am too cheap to buy the plastic boxes you are supposed to put these in. I cut a 16" piece of old corrugated drain pipe and put one of these glue boards in there. Ran a zip tie through holes drilled in one end and the end of the glue board and pulled tight to collapse that end and make a nice inviting little cave.

Have been using a few years and this trap never fails to catch the occasional snake that finds its way into my basement.
