Can Hi-Yield Muriate of Potash 0-0-60 be used on lawns?

I followed your advice and used a Soil Test Kit for my lawn. It recommended the Hi-Yield Muriate of Potash 0-0-60 however in reading through the questions, this cannot be used on lawns so I am confused.

Answer:

Hi-Yield Muriate of Potash 0-0-60 is not labeled to be used on lawns and for use on plants that grow below ground (carrots, potatoes, onions, etc).  TurfgrassPro 0-0-29 or TurfGrassPro Phite 0 - 0 - 26 would be alternative products labeled for lawns/turfgrass.
