Can Monterey Sucker Stopper RTU be used on Sissoo Tree suckers that are popping up in my lawn? Will I still need to pull out the roots?

I cut down a Sissoo tree to the base. There are no suckers growing from the base but they are growing throughout my lawn. I saw on YouTube that this could work to keep them from coming back but how long does that last?

Answer:

You can use Monterey Sucker Stopper RTU to stop the growth of existing new suckers or sprouts. However, this product will not necessarily prevent new ones from coming up. For the best long term control, you will want to remove the stump or possibly use a stump remover such as Hi-Yield Stump Remover to help them decay more quickly.
