We would not recommend overseeding during extreme temperatures. It is best to overseed when the Bermuda grass has stopped growing, which is usually 4–6 weeks before the first frost. This is typically between late August and mid-November. Take a moment to review our Bermuda Grass Care Guide for more information and helpful tips and contact your local County Extension Office for exact timing recommendations in your area.
