Panama (PanAm) Bermuda Grass Seed Blend is perfect for lawns and turfs where a low growing, fine textured appearance is needed. This product is great in warm climates and has excellent drought and frost tolerance. Panama Bermuda is suitable for lawns, golf courses ( fairways, roughs and tees), parks, and sports turf. Panama Bermuda provides a dark green color, encourages low mowing, and exhibits early Spring green up. Treated with poprietary Yellow Jacket seed coating with nutrient and water retaining Zeba coating technology.

Does Panama Bermuda Grass Seed Blend provide complete ground cover and grow in full shade?

Bermudagrass like Panama Bermuda Grass Seed Blend, in general, has extremely poor shade tolerance and will not persist in shade, even in the short term.

Panama Bermuda Grass Seed Blendvery much a turf species that will cover ground quickly and compete against most weeds.............but only in full sun!

Does Panama (PanAm) Bermuda Grass Seed Blend look like Celebration Grass when the grass comes in?

The Panama Bermuda Grass Seed Blend is made by a different manufacturer than Celebration Grass, but it has similar properties and is made for similar uses. The PanAm Bermuda blend is perfect anywhere low-growing, fine textured turf is desired, such as lawns, golf courses, parks, and sports fields. This grass will grow in a dark green color and should be planted in full sunlight. This should be a great alternative to costlier options.

How does PanAm work in Live Oak tree shade? Est. 4 hours sun.

Since Bermuda Grass does not thrive or do well in shaded areas, Panama Bermuda Grass Seed Blend might not give you the results you are looking for. Depending on if the 4 hours of sun the area gets is in the afternoon, this would be more beneficial than if the area is only getting morning sun. Zoysia grass has a great tolerence for shaded areas but does tend to grow more slowly than Bermuda Grass.
