Jason from Dfw, Texas writes

Can Proflex be safely used on lime trees?

Curious if a non-fruit-bearing lime tree can be sprayed with Proflex to treat spider mites that are currently attacking it

Answer:

If you have a non-bearing lime tree, you can treat it with an insecticide such as Proflex Encapsulated Solution. Unfortunately, Proflex is not labeled to treat mites on ornamentals, instead, you can use Talstar P Professional Insecticide which is labeled for the control of spider mites. Please read the product label for complete application instructions.
