Can Simazine 4L Herbicide be applied before planting switchgrass and oats as cover crop in an established hay field?

Simazine 4L Herbicide is actually labeled to kill switchgrass (Panicum) and wild oats therefore would not be recommended.  Contact your local Deptarment of Agriculture for their recommendations on a herbicide that would fit your needs and we can help locate a product by their suggestions.
