Can I spray both Trimec 992 and Dimension with a Non-Ionic Surfactant at the same time?

Is it ok to apply both a pre and post emergent at the same time. Is there a best time of year to do this especially if I am considering overseeing?

Answer:

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide states on the product label that certain spray tank additives(adjuvants, wetting agents, surfactants) and tank mixtures containing emulsifiable concentrates may reduce the selectivity on the turfgrass and that you should not do so unless your experience indicates that the tank mixture will not result in turf injury.  Based on this information we would not recommend to mix a surfactant or Dimension (which is an emulsifible concentrate) with the Trimec.  Most pre-emergent herbicides also state that you cannot reseed within 4 months of application as it could inhibit the growth of the seed.
