Can Subdue Maxx Fungicide be applied this summer for preventative maintenance?

Answer:

Subdue Maxx Fungicide can be applied as a preventative treatment against downy mildew in St. Augustine grass, and for Pythium blight and yellow tuft in bluegrass, according to the product label. For preventative applications, apply at 0.50 – 1.0 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft as a foliar application to established turf in 1-5 gallons of water. Re-treat at 10- to 21- day intervals based on level of disease conditions.
