I only will be using about 5 Oz to treat my lawn. How long is the remaining Subdue in the bottle good for? Years?
Subdue MAXX Fungicide would have a 3-5 year shelf life if stored at room temperature with no extreme heat or cold, and no moisture got into the bottle.

Would aeration be effective at this point or would it just spread the fungus? Definitely pythium as I've seen the cottony, weblike growth in the early morning.

I have had a disease problem over the last several years in the same areas of my home turf grass. I want to apply as a preventive measure. Also how many applications of Subdue Max would be advisable?
Per the product label of Subdue Maxx Fungicide: You would use 0.50 – 1.0 fl oz per 1,000 sq ft in 1-5 gallons of water. The amount of water is not set as it is just the carrier and will be however much it takes you to cover that area. For best efficacy, 1/2 inch irrigation or rainfall is required within 24 hours after application. Within the rate range given for turf, use the lower rate for the shortest interval listed and the higher specifi ed rate for the longest interval. Under severe disease conditions, use the specifi ed highest rate and shortest interval. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions though depending the target disease you want to prevent.

Soil treatment for phytophhora in forsythia hedge
Subdue MAXX Fungicide is not labled for a soil treatment when treating for phytophthora. Per the product label it should be applied as a foliar treatment only. Also this would not be a product that we would recommend for that either as you would have to use such a miniscule amount when treating hedges as the label states to use it in 100 gallons of water. To be able to break that down would not be worth using.
You could use Monterey Agri-Fos Fungicide. It is labeled for a soil drench at a rate of 2 to 4 tsp per gallon of water, and you would apply 1 gallon per sq yard. Follow the application with irrigation to get the product down to the roots of the plant. You can do repeat applications at 14-21 day intervals.
