This rose garden is well established and about 1/2 acre in size. Wild onion has infested about 1/4 of the rose garden. If Dismiss will not work, what other alternative is there to get rid of the wild onion short of digging up the roses?
Dismiss is only meant to be used on turf and is not labeled for ornamental areas. It may kill the roses. When treating a weed like wild onions it is best to usually spot treat the onions with a glyphosate or RoundUp type product. This is the best option. If that is not an issue, you can use Image 70 DG which is labeled for ornamental areas, but you should try to keep the spray directed at the bed areas and not on the roses.
