I have 80 acres in perennial peanut that we use for hay. Trying to find something to kill horse nettle but I can not use a broadleaf herbicide because perennial peanut is a broad leaf.
Full control of horsenettle alone is tricky, as it is one of the most persistent weeds to come across. There is no known selective herbicide that will target horsenettle that would not harm the perennial peanut/hay as well. Storm Herbicide does not indicate it is labeled for horsenettle. We recommend reaching out to your local county extension office for recommendations on horsenettle in your area.
