Can I use Tordon RTU to treat mulberry trees coming up in my lilac bush hedge?

Would the roots of mulberry and lilac be intertwined that it would kill possibly both. if I was to only cut and paint the mulberry with Tordon?

Answer:

Tordon RTU is not labeled to control mulberry, so we would not recommend using this product to control it. We would recommend cutting the mulberry that you want to kill and treating the fresh cuts with Fertilome Brush and Stump Killer at full strength brushed onto them.
