We’ll be doing extensive travelling in Europe, frequenting different hotels and hostels as we go. Not all accommodations are well reviewed and we don’t know of a website that tracks bed bug infestations in the countries we’re going to. We are looking for a product that will kill bed bugs on contact and will offer us some protection for at least two or three days before we move on. Would you recommend D-Force HPX for this, or another product?
You can use D-Force HPX when traveling to help with bedbugs but you should not rely on the product as your only defense. D-Force HPX, like most other insecticides, takes time to kill off bedbugs that contact treated areas and will not be able to prevent 100% of bedbug bites. Bedbugs that are sprayed directly should die within a very short amount of time. You should thoroughly inspect each place you will be staying for bedbugs or evidence of bedbugs. If you do see a current infestation you should ask to be put in a different room or stay in a different hotel. Please take a few minutes to read our article How to Avoid Bedbugs in Hotels.
