You can put herbicides in the hose end sprayer as long as the usage rate can be calibrated on the sprayer. We however do not usually recommend using herbicides in hose end sprayers because it can be tough to accurately gauge how much product you sprayed and many herbicides demand you be precise with the application or you could experience damage to desirable plants or grasses.
