Captain XTR is a chelated copper formulation that is highly effective in controlling and restraining a broad range of blue-green and green algae. The active ingredient in this formula is potent enough to reduce condensation of copper with bicarbonates and carbonates in water. It is made for copper to easily penetrate into algae cells gaining huge impact when targeting stubborn and tough to control colonial, mat-forming, and mucilaginous species. Water administered with this algaecide may be used for fishing, watering livestock, swimming, and irrigation of non-food crops such as ornamentals and turf and food crops during and after administration.
