Catchmaster Bulk Glue is a glue that has a new and improved formula which makes the glue easy to spread, but it won't run at high temperatures or lose its effectiveness at low temperatures. The Glue is offered for those who want to make their own traps for when you need a specific shape and size that isn't commercially available. It works great on both rodents and insects, and is non-toxic, making it well suited for sensitive areas. Catchmaster Bulk Glue can be applied to cardboard, plastic, roofing shingles, and wood. Just place the glue 5 to 15 feet apart, depending on the size of what you are trying to catch, keep the glue boards in place for at least five days before removing it, since the pest may avoid it until it gets accustomed to it. Use putty or wire to secure the boards in place as to prevent the pest from moving the board around. The glue may be heated to make application easier. To remove the glue, use vegetable oil or baby oil, and it will come off.

Catching a rat
By Barber on 11/20/2020
The products works exactly as promised. Very difficult to use the first time but if you take care and follow the instructions you should have no problems. I strongly recommend disposable gloves and putting paper or cardboard beneath where you are working. I was able to eliminate a invasion of several rats in one night. No evidence in weeks of any survivors. Nothing else I use worked before. I still have half of the product for any future use. I will recommend this product to friends/family.

Six Mice First Go
By John on 12/16/2020
I scooped some of this out, cut it with scissors, and smeared it on a piece of cardboard. It worked like a charm. I caught six mice in one night. I think I got all of them in one go. I recommend using a heat gun or a hot air gun to spread the glue. Also, I caught a lizard and was able to save it by spraying it with WD-40. As sticky as this stuff is, if you use heat and WD-40 it is surprisingly easy to work with.

The Catchmaster Bulk Glue Can glue can be used in high or low temperatures. It can be used outside; however any dust or debris that is in the air has the potential to get caught on the surface, which can decrease the effectiveness of the glue.

Catchmaster Bulk Glue Can should not be applied to fly ribbons with previous adhesive. Place glue on plastic trays, foil, cardboard and other intended applications.

If it is soluble in EtOH, that could be used for temporarily thinning it or for adding attractants uniformly. Also for removing it from unwanted places or theoretically, accidental catches. FWIW, this area has a huge roof rat problem.
Catchmaster Bulk Glue can be removed with vegetable oil. We are not sure if denatured ethanol would affect it. We would recommend checking with the manufacturer directly. Catchmaster can be reached at 800-458-7454.
