  • Asked by Jafopt
    02/17/2020
    Q
How much surfactant do you use per gallon when mixing with Celsius?
    A

The amount of surfactant you use with Celsius per gallon of water is going to depend on the brand of surfactant you use. It is recommended to use a non-ionic surfactant with Celsius. The two most common non-ionic surfactants we sell are Southern Ag Non-Ionic Surfactant or Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker. Please refer to the product page for each surfactant to determine how much needs to be mixed per gallon of water.

  • Asked by Esteban from Sanford North Carolina
    02/14/2020
    Q
Can i mix celsius wg with lesco three way selective herbicide to put it in bermuda for weed control i live in
    I live in north carolina
    A

We recommend performing a small jar test and testing in a small inconspicuous area first. Celsius does treat many broadleaf weeds so it may not be necessary to apply two post emergent herbicides in the same tank or at the same time separately. Please provide your targeted weeds, desired turf and size area for additional assistance. We are happy to help!

  • Asked by Chris from Punta Gorda, Fl 33982
    12/20/2019
    Q
most effective on south florida weeds celsius wg or atrazine
    A

Which herbicide is best for your needs will depend on several factors, including the type of turfgrass you have (Atrazine is for use only on Centipede and St. Augustine), the specific weeds you are targeting, and how large of an area you are treating. If you would like to provide some more details, then we are happy to make a product recommendation for you. Keep in mind that you do not want to apply post-emergent herbicides if your warm-season turfgrass is under stress from cold.

    Q
After applying Celsius, how long does it take to kill sandbur?
    A

Weed growth ceases within hours after application of Celsius WG Herbicide. Symptoms progress from yellowing to necrosis resulting in plant death within 1-4 weeks after application. The speed of symptom development varies with temperature and will be faster at warmer temperatures. For best results to control mature weeds, apply when the daily average temperature is above 60

  • Asked by Thomas from Centre, Al
    09/14/2019
    Q
Can I use Celsius WG Herbicide on ground cover juniper for poison ivy control?
    A

Celsius WG Herbicide is not labeled to control poison ivy. Unfortunately, there is not an herbicide available that would remove the poison ivy from around juniper that would not also potentially harm it. The best thing for this area is to wear gloves and carefully hand pull the poison ivy or you can carefully spot treat with a glyphosate-based product such as Gly Pho-Sel Pro 41% with Surfactant, avoiding contact with as much of the juniper as you can.
