Agrisel Gly Pho-Sel Pro with 41% Glyphosate is a high quality fast acting systemic total vegetation weed killer. Sprayed on weeds and grasses, Gly Pho-Sel Pro 41% starts working fast, within 1-2 hours, and kills weeds and grasses on contact, roots an all. With the same active ingredient as Round Up Pro, Gly Pho-Sel 41% gives fast and total vegetation and weed control. Gly Pho-Sel can be used by homeowners, golf courses, landscapers, and in agriculture, turf, ornamental and non-crop environments. GlyPhoSel is highly concentrated with 41% Glyphosate herbicide and a 15% surfactant included. GlyPhoSel mixes easily and has very low odor.
Gly Pho-Sel Pro is a post-emergent, systemic herbicide with no soil residue activity. It is generally nonselective and gives broad spectrum control of many annual weeds, perennial weeds, woody brush and trees. It is formulated as a water soluble liquid. No additional surfactant, additives containing surfactant, buffering agents or pH adjusting agents are needed or recommended. It may be applied through most standard industrial or field-type sprayers after dilution and thorough mixing with water or other carriers according to label instructions. Do not add surfactants, additives containing surfactants, buffering agents or pH adjusting agents to the spray solution when AGRISEL GLY PHO-SEL PRO 41% is the only pesticide used. Ammonium Sulfate may be used. See the MIXING DIRECTIONS section of this label for instructions.
Time to Symptoms:
Gly Pho-Sel Pro moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact to and into the root system. Visible effects on most annual weeds occur within 2 to 4 days, but on most perennial weeds may not occur for 7 days or more. Extremely cool or cloudy weather following treatment may slow activity of this product and delay development of visual symptoms. Visible effects are a gradual wilting and yellowing of the plant which advances to complete browning of above-ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts.
Stage of Weeds:
Annual weeds are easiest to control when they are small. Best control of most perennial weeds is obtained when treatment is made at late growth stages approaching maturity. Refer to the annual, perennial, woody brush and trees rate tables for recommendations for specific weeds. Always use the higher rate of this product per acre within the recommended range when weed growth is heavy or dense or weeds are growing in an undisturbed (non-cultivated) area. Do not treat weeds under poor growing conditions such as drought stress, disease or insect damage, as reduced weed control may result. Reduced results may also occur when treating weeds heavily covered with dust.
Reduced control may result when applications are made to annual and perennial weeds that have been mowed, grazed, or cut, and have not been allowed to regrow to the recommended stage for treatment.
Heavy rainfall or irrigation soon after application may wash this product off of the foliage and a repeat application may be required for adequate control.
For best results, spray coverage should be uniform and complete. Do not spray weed foliage to the point of runoff.
Mode of Action:
The active ingredient in this product inhibits an enzyme found only in plants that is essential to formation of specific amino acids.
No Soil Activity:
Weeds must be emerged at the time of application to be controlled by this product. Weeds germinating from seed after application will not be controlled. Unemerged plants arising from unattached underground rhizomes or root stocks of perennials will not be affected by the herbicide and will continue to grow.
Degradation of this product is primarily a biological process carried out by soil microbes.
Gly Pho-Sel Pro does not provide residual weed control. For subsequent residual weed control, follow a labelapproved herbicide program. Read and carefully observe the cautionary statements and all other information appearing on the labels of all herbicides used. Use according to the most restrictive label directions for each product in the mixture. The tank mix product that is used must be registered for the proposed use site. Buyer and all users are responsible for all loss or damage in connection with the use or handling of mixtures of this product with herbicides or other materials that are not expressly recommended in this labeling. Mixing this product with herbicides or other materials not recommended on this label may result in reduced performance.
Annual Maximum Use Rate:
Except as otherwise specified in the crop section of this label, the combined total of all treatments must not exceed 8 quarts of this product per acre per year.* For non-crop uses, the combined total of all treatments must not exceed 10.6 quarts of this product per acre per year.
Very pleased with product - have used it for years. Am very pleased with price and service from Do My Own Pest Control.com. Was buying product locally but found that this website actually offers if for a little less than what I was paying and the free shipping is an added bonus. Will continue to buy product and use this company for my future needs. It takes a couple of days for you to see a result but it does wonderfully with killing the weeds in my driveway. Doesn't seem to matter if I rains as long as it's been sprayed at least a couple of hours.
BUY IT! Glyphosate is Glyphosate no matter whose name is on it. (Roundup, Remuda, whatever). I have used it for years and found it to be great. It has gotten to be tremendously expensive at my local garden store. Recent purchase computed to be $4.19 per ounce of Glyphosate. Terrible! This purchase from DMOPC figures out to be $0.55 per ounce of glyphosate. Plus this product already has the surfactant in it! You can't beat it!
After spending hundreds of dollars on OTC products such as "Round-Up" and a plethora of others I came across this site last year and thought I'd give this product a try. I have 2 acres and lots of spot weeding to do. I tried this product and at first thought it worked a bit slow for my liking, but still better than anything in the retail stores. Bought it again this year, before the weeds got waist high, and the weeds are already history! I have a huge line of windbreak trees and there isn't a weed to be found in the entire 550' of trees. It's easy to control the application of this herbicide with a tank sprayer, with even a minimum of protection for vegetation you don't want to kill. I mix and use this product precisely as suggested on the insert, i.e., "more" is not better and I'm not wanting to test that out. This year, for some unknown reason, it seemed to work faster! I love this stuff and will continue to buy it as long as it's available. One bottle, one quart, will last the entire weed-growing season.
Should one dilute Gly Pho-Sel Pro 41% with Surfactant with water and if so, how much?
Yes, Gly Pho-Sel Pro 41% with Surfactant should be diluted with water. You will mix 1-2 oz. per gallon of water to control most annual weeds or use 2-4 oz. to control tougher or hard to kill perennial weeds. Please refer to product label for complete use instructions.
What product will kill weeds, vines, and grass along fence line, sheds, and barn?
The best product would likely be a non-selective weed killer such as Gly Pho-Sel Pro. Gly Pho-Sel Pro with 41% Glyphosate is a high quality fast acting systemic total vegetation weed killer. Sprayed on weeds and grasses, Gly Pho-Sel Pro 41% starts working fast, within 1-2 hours, and kills weeds and grasses on contact, roots an all.
I've been clearing land what would be the best weed killer?
There are still stumps on the ground and baby gum trees are beginning to grow from those stumps. Is there a weed killer that will treat this?
A mixture of Crossbow and a glyphosate product like Gly Pho-Sel is a great combination. Crossbow is for heartier, bushes and thorns like blackberries and gum trees. You can mix a glyphosate product with it to quickly kill broadleaf and grass weeds. It is a great combination.
What is the best herbicide to kill centipede grass in established Bermuda?
I've experienced an invasion of Centipede in an established Bermuda right of way. Should I use Drive XLR8 or MSMA, understanding that there are restrictions and safety issues with MSMA
Neither Drive nor MSMA are actually labeled to control centipede in bermuda grass. The best thing to do in your case would be to spot treat with a glyphosate based product such as Gly-Pho-Sel Pro and then replant the bermuda in those areas.
