The Chapin G390 20-Gallon Lawn Hose End Sprayer is a hose end sprayer expertly engineered to be compatible with every hose. It is made of chemical-resistant, rustproof, and long-lasting material. A removable fan-spray nozzle provides a continuous stream for more direct application or fast coverage on large areas. Capable of producing up to 20 gallons of finished spray. Has a fingertip on/off control. This sprayer is compatible with all forms of water-soluble weed killers, fertilizers, herbicides, and fungicides.

- Removable fan-spray nozzle for quick coverage of large areas or a continuous stream for more direct application;

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- Place proper amount of chemical (powder or liquid) in sprayer for desired number of gallons. Fill jar with proper amount of water for gallons to be sprayed.
- Attach sprayer head to hose, thread jar with content onto spray head and turn on water. For proper spraying and mixing water, on/off control valve must be fully open.
- To spray mixture of chemical and water, push sprayer valve handle forward to the fully open position.To stop spraying, pull valve back to fully closed. When jar is empty, you have sprayed desired number of gallons.

The only good thing about this sprayer is that it is useful in measuring out your liquids, otherwise it is a waste of money. The lid doesn't even stay on securely, and it doesn't work with the Talstar…

We would not advise on using it to apply Talstar or any other products not labeled to be used in a hose end sprayer. Read Full Answer »The amount of liquid herbicide required in the Chapin 20 Gallon Hose End Lawn Sprayer (G390) will depend on the specific RoundUp Herbicide you are using and the mix rates on that product label. Please view the example provided by Chapin from the G390 Manual. Example:  If chemical product calls for 1 tablespoon per gallon and you want 10 gallons of finished spray, place 10 full tablespoons of product in bottle and fill with water to 10 gallon mark on side of bottle. For fan spray for lawns & shrubs, attach deflector to nozzle. For jet stream to spray trees, remove deflector.
