    Do you carry a 20v replacement battery?

    Unfortunately, we do not currently carry the replacment battery for the Chapin 4 Gallon 20V Lithium Black And Decker Battery Backpack Sprayer. However, I would be happy to contact our vendors to check price and availability.

    Can the electric pump itself be replaced on the Chapin Backpack Sprayer 4 Gal. 20V Lithium? What is the part number?

    We do apologize but there is no replacement part for the pump for the Chapin Backpack Sprayer 4 Gal. 20V Lithium. Chapin has advised that if there is an issue with the pump, they recommend to call them directly to troubleshoot the sprayer over the phone. If by chance they cannot get the sprayer to work properly they will work with you.  You can reach Chapin at 800-444-3140

    What kind of pump does the Chapin Backpack Sprayer 4 Gal. 20V Lithium Black & Decker Battery have?

    The Chapin Backpack Sprayer 4 Gal. 20V Lithium Black & Decker Battery uses a piston pump to disperse the chemicals in the tank. According to the manufacturer, sprayers with a "piston pump mechanism" can only be used to apply liquid insecticide conentrates, not any type of bleach or wettable powders insecticides. Wettable powder insectides can only be used in "diaphram pump mechanism" sprayers.

    It seems like this is mostly advertised for insecticide use. Can this sprayer be used for weed killer and pre-emergents?

    Is the Chapin Battery Backpack Sprayer loud when in use?
    I know some battery sprayers make a loud sound as they pressurize the liquid.

    From our experience, we do not find the Chapin Backpack Sprayer 4 Gal with Lithium Black and Decker Battery to be too loud at all. In our Do My Own Lawn Care Video Series, Paul uses this sprayer in several of our recent videos, including our new video on Rotating Fungicides (mixing with this sprayer starts at about 6:20).
