    Can I use the Chapin 4 gallon backpack sprayer to spray on deck stain?
    Will this sprayer be good for applying deck stain?

    Unfortunately, the Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style (61400/61500) is not meant for use in applying stains or anything other than insecticides, fungicides and herbicides.  Doing so could damage the sprayer beyond repair.

    Does the Chapin 61400/61500 sprayer extend?
    I house it 2stories and I have to reach the outside ceiling. I need a sprayer that can extend.

    The Chapin 61400/61500 does not extend. To spray more than 15 feet you would want to use the Chapin Slide Pump Sprayer. The slide pump sprayer will reach 30 feet away.

    Does the pump handle on the Chapin Backpack Sprayer Euro Style 4 Gal. (61400/61500) change for left or right-handed people?

    No, the pump handle for the Chapin Backpack Sprayer 61400/61500 is not interchangeable. Most other Chapin backpack sprayers can be assembled with the pump on either side of the tank.

    Is the Chapin 61400 good for use with powder mixed with water?
    A
    You can use this sprayer with wettable powder formulations though you will need to agitate the solution so that the powder does not settle at the bottom and clog the sprayer.

    Chapin 61400/31500 would work great to apply dormant oil to fruit trees. In fact lots of our customers use this sprayer just for that treatment.

    If It rinse in between can I use the Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style (61400/61500) to apply Talstar and Gordon's Trimec?

    It is fine to use different products out of the same sprayer such as the Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style (61400/61500), as long as you triple rinse the sprayer and wash it out thoroughly. You should always triple rinse the sprayer if you are changing the product that you are using. Triple rinse means to rinse out the inside of the sprayer 3 times, and also fill it with water and run clean water through the hose for at least 1 minute to make sure that there is no residual left in the hose in addition to the tank. We also sell tank cleaners that are excellent for removing any possible residual from your sprayer.

    What is the overall height of the tank counting the pump and hoses coming out of the top of the pump?

    Will the Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style (61400/61500) shoot at least 25 ft?
    Looking for a backpack sprayer that will hit sofits of our second floor. Some 25-35 feet above grade.

    The Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style will only reach about 10-15 feet depending on the PSI. We do not currently carry any backpack sprayers that will spray any further than that.

    What is the mesh size on the Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style (61400/61500)?I need larger than 50 mesh for use with Isobaxen.

    Chapin does not go by mesh size. They refer to filters. They did recommend when using Isoxaben in the the  Chapin 4 Gallon Backpack Sprayer Euro Style (61400/61500) to pre mix and then pour into sprayer.
