    What is the closet you can space sweet corn seed using the Chapin Garden Seeder model 8701B?
    A

    When planting sweet corn seeds it is suggested to space the seeds 15" apart giving them plenty of room to grow. When using the Chapin Garden Seeder model 8701B, if you want more space in between each seed you can use a peice of tape to cover every other hole.

    Will the Earthway 1001-b seed plates fit the Chapin Garden Seeder model 8701B?

    Each seeder comes with their own seed plates and sizes can vary. Please use Earthway seed plates on Earthway spreaders and Chapin seed plates on the Chapin Garden Seeder model 8701B (as well as other models).
