Chapin Professional Farm and Field Viton Sprayer 2 Gal. (21240XP) XP Model is specially designed for farm and agriculture use which offers 40% more pump volume per stroke. It's made from durable and lightweight polyethylene material which are non-corrosive to most pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. This 2-gallon sprayer includes brass extension, brass shut-off, pressure relief valve, metal industrial pump handle, reinforced hose, and a special lock-on feature to help reduce fatigue. It also highlights Viton seals and gaskets to ensure key areas will be secured and SureSpray anti-clog filter to keep debris from getting in the nozzle, shut-off and hose. It has a funnel top which allows you to clean and fill it easily.

Finally a great sprayer

I do A LOT of spraying around my property and a durable, fast pump sprayer was what I was looking for. This thing does it all. Wide mouth for filling, fast pump up and very good range that it can spray - over 15' for me. Can be adjusted from fine mist to pencil stream and all points in between. Pay the extra $10 or so to upgrade to this over the other Chapin models, you won't be disappointed. I did an exterior spraying of 2 cottages in 1 hour, a job that normally takes 2+ hours - this sprayer puts out a lot of material making the job go fast. Highly recommended!

I would like to take the spray hose off when storing the container and need to know if that is possible.

No, the Chapin Professional Farm & Field Viton Sprayer 2 Gal. (21240XP) does not have foaming capabilities, so it would not work for foam applications. You can look at using the Chapin Poly Foamer 2 Gallon (2659E).
