Cimex Eradicator is a one-of-a-kind steamer designed for pest control that is capable of eliminating bed bugs including their eggs without the use of insecticides, allowing immediate room occupancy. This particular machine has very little enviromental impact and has absolutely zero negative health effects. It is a superheated, dry steam generator that reaches 365°F ensuring immediate and complete killing of bed bugs and their eggs through thermal shock. Throughout the delivery stage, the steam is combined with HPMed detergent (a water and alcohol based solution) which works as a coadjuvant to wipe out the unpleasant smell of bed bugs and soften the glue-like substance which sticks the eggs to any types of surfaces. The super heated, dry steam of the Cimex Eradicator can be utilized on any type of fabric or surface without leaving behind any residue and can also be steered into the hard to reach corners, cracks and crevices in order to treat nesting areas. The fungal, viral, and bacterial count is lowered in just seconds when using the Cimex Eradicator. This patented technology comes with Polti's Steam Disinfector nozzle with controlled expansion, heat exchange device, and a 2-liter boiler capacity.

How does the Cimex Eradicator work?
The Cimex Eradicator is a steam generator with a special steam nozzle - the Steam Disinfector (with a Polti patent) - that superheats steam up to 356°F, which is the above the temperature necessary to kill bed bugs due to thermal shock.
What kind of water should be used?
The Cimex Eradicator has been designed to work with normal tap water with an average hardness between 8° and 20° f. If the tap water contains a lot of limescale use a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% commercially available demineralized water. Do not use pure demineralized water. (For more information on water hardness please contact your local council).
How does the Cimex Eradicator kill bed bugs?
The bed bugs are killed by thermal shock. The Cimex Eradicator's steam has a temperature of up to 356°F which penetrates the bed bugs’ nesting places very effectively. Laboratory tests show that at the first application, it eliminates more than 90% of the adult insects (Tests by Pest 2000 & Pest 3000, Italy).
Does the Cimex Eradicator also kill the eggs?
The Cimex Eradicator is also effective against the eggs. At the first application it eliminates 100% of the eggs.
Is the Cimex Eradicator a safe system?
The Cimex Eradicator is a safe system because it uses only steam together with HpMed; it does not require any use of dangerous substances for health such as insecticides. Is the Cimex Eradicator also effective against other insects/mites; does it disinfect other bacteria?
The Cimex Eradicator sanitizes the treated surfaces. It helps to eliminate mites, viruses, bacteria and fungi. It is not effective against very light insects or those with high mobility.
Besides eliminating bed bugs can the Cimex Eradicator be used for other purposes?
Cimex Eradicator can be used as an ordinary steam cleaner, by purchasing the steam accessory kit (code PAEU0269).

El Cimex Eradicator es una maquina capaz de eliminar cinches, incluyendo los huevecillos. Esta maquina requiere HPMed para el tratamiento de chinches y para mejor resultados ya que tambien elimina el mal olor causado por los chinches. La maquina funciona como un limpiador a vapor y no funcionaria como los insecticidas ya que el vapor puede eliminar a los chinches al contacto.

No, Cimex Eradicator is only for bed bugs not viruses.
