CimeXa Dust is not specifically labeled for carpenter bees. We recommend that you apply Delta Dust to the holes. It is waterproof and offer a long lasting residual outside as well as indoor crevices.
Cimexa Dust would be the longest lasting at up to 10 years in undisturbed areas and would be a great product to use.

There really would be no valid reason for mixing Cimexa with Diatomaceous Earth as they are both dusts used in the same areas and kill the same way just with different active ingredients. If you choose to apply them both you should apply each product following the instructions on each product label. Be aware that applying too much dust can have a negative effect, if you can see the dust so can insects and they can avoid the treated area then, either should be applied as just a light dusting.
Cimexa dust is not labeled to be used for lice. You can use Greenway Formula 7 for head lice. The special formula contains clove oil, almond oil, glycerin and purified water. It is 100 percent safe for young children, pregnant women, nursing mothers, elderly and to those with asthma or allergies. To prevent spread of head lice and reinfestation, spray the solution on your bedding or pillow.

Cimexa Dust can be used as either a liquid or dry form. For the liquid form, you will mix 1 lb. of product with 1 gallon of clean water. This will treat approximately 1000 square feet. Approximately 1 qt of solution will treat 250 square feet. The dry form will likely give you more coverage than the liquid form will. You should still only apply Cimexa Dust as a crack and crevice treatment as directed on the product label. Please see our Bed Bug Treatment Guide for more tips and information.
Per the CimeXa Dust product label, "Remove bedding and take the bed apart. Treat the interior framework, joints and cracks in the bed frame. Treat the mattress and box spring, paying particular attention to tufts, folds and edges, and the interior framework of the box spring. Remove wall-mounted head boards and treat the back side. Treat picture frames, moldings, hollow furniture legs, cracks and crevices, along baseboards, and any areas with visible signs of infestation, including rugs and carpet. Treat upholstered furniture by removing or lifting (if possible) the cushions and treating the undersurface. Treat the interior framework, cracks and joints of the furniture, and the folds, tufts and edges of cushions and other upholstered areas. Do not treat toys and stuffed animals with product. CimeXa Insecticide Dust is effective applied in the dry formulation using a dust applicator and mixed with water and applied as a spray. It will last longer in a voided area when dry if left undisturbed and not removed. Apply at a rate of 2 ounces per 100 square feet. In attics and crawlspaces, apply at a rate of 1 lb per 1000 square feet. Use a handheld bellows, bulb or puffer bottle type duster to apply a light, visible film. A power duster may also be used.

Before starting your treatment, we recommend a thorough vacumming of the vehicle. Discard the contents of the vacuum immediately in a bag and put in a separate trash container. Bedlam Plus aerosol can be used on the seats, tufts and folds and will provide a contact kill and leave a residual for up to 2 weeks.
After the Bedlam has dried, Cimexa Dust can be applied under the seats, along cracks and crevices, tracks for seats and directly to the carpeted areas. Insecticide dusts are meant to be applied as a light dusting, you do not want to clump or over apply. Using a brush, work the cimexa dust into the upholstered areas and carpets. Repeat vacuuming daily or every other day. Refer to product label for specific instructions regarding your treatment.
Nuvan Strips are labeled for use in vehicles and as long as you follow the Nuvan Product Label they should work very well and not cause any damage.
If you are going to apply both liquids and dust formulations in or near the same area, then we would recommend applying the liquid or sprays first, allowing them to dry, and then applying the dust such as CimeXa Insecticide Dust. Applying sprays on top of dusts will cause the dust to clump and to become ineffective. CimeXa Insecticide Dust will remain effective as long as it is undisturbed and dry.
We would recommend keeping children and/or individuals out of the area until the Cimexa Dust settles completely. This could be 1-2 hours depending on how much was used. This product is mainly used for wall voids. If you are concerned about breathing the product in, we would recommend using a respirator mask when using the product. Be sure to let the dust stay down for at least 24 hours before vacuuming the area.
