Great product. After only 2 applications 10 days apart fungus (black spot) is gone. MAKE SURE YOU READ ABOUT THIS PRODUCT AND ALL FUNGICIDES BEFORE YOU BUY. MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING LOCAL/HORTICULTURAL CONTROL -- you know cleaning up fallen leaves, turn your mulch, trim bad leaves/areas, soaking your trimming equipment in 10% bleach, etc. Know what you are dealing with and know that it is a fungus first. Secondly, make sure you consider a spray program and always use fungicides from different classes in order to not create resistance. In other words, if you use Cleary all the time there is a good chance you will create a resistant strain of fungus and then Cleary will not work any longer. An hour or two of reading on the internet is well worth it and your plants will thank you for it. The only problem is that this fungicide is the only COMMERCIAL, HIGH GRADE fungicide that Do My Own Pest Control has in stock. I would like to see Procure 480sc added as well as Lime-Sulfur 29% so that customers can help prevent resistant fungi by using alternating products. This would also ensure that you eliminate the fungus you have by attacking it alternately with different fungicides with completely different modes of action. Cleary 3336F is AWESOME and what the big guns use.

Fungicide knowledge
By Lyle on 08/27/2012
I purchased two different fungicide products from DoMyOwnPestControl, so I was surprised when I wrote them with a question about the products. I was advised that they didn't know much about it having just started selling fungicide. I was told tocontact my County Agricultural Office. Their response left me feeling not very confident on their expertise!!!! I would think if you are going to sell fungicide products, you ought to be VERY knowledgeable about its' uses, etc.

very effective fungicide
By Anonymous on 06/03/2013
I have been using this fungicide for several years. It is very useful against a wide variety of fungii. Since it is a systemic, that makes it even more effective. I primarily use it on orchids where I spray it on the roots as well as the stems and leaves.

Great access to great products

Yes, 3336F can be used on orchids as directed on the product label. It is mixed with water and sprayed.
How do I apply it as a drench how much and when
Clearys 3336F is not labelled for a drench application on plum trees. It is for foliar application only. You will use 22 oz per acre at the first sign of disease. Complete instructions on the label.
I have dogs and would prefer to root drench for pruned flowering cherry and plum trees. Is root drench effective. If not I have a hose end sprayer and PPE. I can reach the top of the canopy with sprayer if this is the only effective method of application.
Clearys 3336F Fungicide is not labeled for any drench application on fruit trees it is only applied directly to the foliage as directed on the product label. The rate given for cherry and plum trees is for larger areas, given per acre at the rate of 22.5 oz per acre in 100 gallons which breaks down to 1.41 tsp per gallon. You could use a hose end sprayer to apply Clearys 3336F as long as you can properly calibrate it to spray the recommended amount of product per gallon of water, though it is not as accurate as using a pump/backpack sprayer.
Clearys 3336F is labeled for powdery mildew applied as a foliar spray only when the disease first appears and repeat every 7-14 days during disease period per the product label.
3336F Fungicide is not labeled for buxus blight. We do recommend contacting local extension office for identification and advise on what you can use.
Yes, 3336F Fungicide is labeled for the prevention of large brown patch. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions.

On the label it did not say to water it. But then reading other costumers questions I saw the recommendation to water after application.
3336F Fungicide is applied with sufficent water at the time of application with no rainfall/irrigation with 24 hours of the application. Per the label only specific diseases require watering in after application so in general it is not needed. You should not apply more fungicide to the area before the interval timing listed on the label per area.

Depending on the disease you are targeting, excessive irrigation/rainfall may move the application of 3336F Fungicide below the root zone and reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. We recommend waiting at least 7 days to reapply the fungicide if there was rainfall immediately following the application and be sure to have atleast 24 hrs following the application before rainfall is expected.
The only exception with Clearys 3336F would be if you are targeting root pathogens (diseases) where the product label recommends additional light watering (1/10th to 2/10th’s inch of water) to move the active ingredient into the root zone.

It is possible to mix two fungicides together as long as they have different active ingredients and modes of action. Clearys 3336 (Group 1) can be tank mixed with Prime Source's Propiconazole 14.3 Fungicide (Group 3) by following the Tank Mixing Instructions listed on the individual product labels.
If treating for an active lawn dieseas, we recommend treating with one fungicide for 2-3 applications at the recommended day intervals per the product label then rotate to the 2nd fungicide for the same number of applications and interval period per that fungicide product label.
The application rate for 3336F Fungicide will depend on the specific disease being treated. When treating azaleas and ornamentals, you will apply as a full coverage spray to the point of drip to the foliage(bush).
Refer to page 7 on the product label for application rates for Ornamentals and more information.

For prevention of Pythium Blight, Headway G Fungicide would be a recommended preventative fungicide to apply in the fall. This granular fungicide uses 2 active ingredients, Azoxystrobin & Propiconazole to provide different modes of action for preventative applications.
For control of Pyrthium Blight in Spring/Summer, Prime Source Propam Select Fungicide can be used in a fungicide rotation program to control and prevent Pythium Blight.
Please view our Pythium Blight Treatment Guide in our Lawn Care Guides section of the website for more information.
Yes, you can apply Clearys 3336F on fescue seedlings as there is no set time restriction between seeding and applying the fungicide.
View the full product label for more information.
The only comments in regards to cactus on the Clearys 3336F product label is that it should not be used on Easter Cactus.
We would recommend consulting with your County Extension Office for a positive id of the disease and for approved fungicide recommendations as 3336F Fungicide is only labeled for applications to lawns, turfgrasses, bedding plants, annual and perennial flowers, trees and shrubs.
You state in some responses that this needs watered in with 1/2” water. But, another response says,” We would recommend waiting at least 12 hours before watering the lawn after putting down Clearys 336F Fungicide. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. “ so to clarify, it's best to apply then wait 12 hours before watering with 1/2”?
We would recommend waiting at least 12 hours before watering the lawn after putting down Clearys 336F Fungicide. We apologize for the confusion.
