Clearys 3336F Fungicide can be applied as a foliar application or a soil drench application for a maple tree. If doing a foliar application it would be applied at 12-16 ounces of product into 100 gallons of water and sprayed all over the canopy and bark. The amount of Clearys 3336F Fungicide per 1000 sq. ft. will depend on the disease you’re treating. Please see the product label for your specific disease to find out how many ounces is reccomended per 1000 square feet. Once you have determined the labeled mix rate, you will need to find out how much water it will take you to cover 1000 square feet. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and start walking and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. When you are done walking and spraying the 1,000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix the labeled rate of product with for each 1,000 sq ft area that needs to be treated.
