    Q
Will Clearys 3336F Fungicide be more effective than the granular form to treat hosta for Sclerotium rolfsii?
It's a problem in multiple large flower bed and starting to affect other perennials. Used Clearys 3336 but wondering if the DG Lite would be more effective.
    A

Neither Clearys 3336F Fungicide nor the Clearys 3336 DG Lite Granular Fungicide are labeled for Sclerotium rolfsii, also known as southern blight.

Disarm G Fungicide is a great option for this and is safe for use around hosta plants. The rate is 2.3-4.6 lbs per 1000 square feet. This can be reapplied every 14-28 days as needed.

  • Asked by Dominick from Springfield

    Q
What can I rotate with Headway G?
Also can this be applied when temps are above 90?
    A

A great product to rotate with Headway G Fungicide is Clearys 3336F Fungicide. You need to rotate fungicides every 14-28 days depending on the label. This product should not be applied when the temperatures are above 90 degrees. If your temperatures reach 90 or above during the day, it would be best to apply in the morning or evening when temperatures are cooler.

  • Asked by Carol from Wheeling, Wv

    Q
How would Clearys 3336F be applied to a large maple tree?
Our maple tree has been diagnosed with Discula anthracnose. Clearys 3336 has been recommended. What is the best way to apply? Is this a doable solution for us?
    A

Clearys 3336F Fungicide can be applied as a foliar application or a soil drench application for a maple tree.  If doing a foliar application it would be applied at 12-16 ounces of product into 100 gallons of water and sprayed all over the canopy and bark.  If doing a soil drench application it would be applied at 8-16 ounces of product into 100 gallons of water and poured around the trunk avoiding the drip line.

  • Asked by Oscar
    09/07/2018
    Q
How many ounces per gallon of Clearys 3336F Fungicide?
    A

The amount of Clearys 3336F Fungicide per 1000 sq. ft. will depend on the disease you’re treating.  Please see the product label  for your specific disease to find out how many ounces is reccomended per 1000 square feet.  Once you have determined the labeled mix rate, you will need to find out how much water it will take you to cover 1000 square feet. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and start walking and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. When you are done walking and spraying the 1,000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix the labeled rate of product with for each 1,000 sq ft area that needs to be treated.

    Q
Will Clearys 3336F Fungicide work effectively for maintenance for pink rot on canary island palm?
I've got pink rot on a 40 foot canary island palm.
    A

Clearys 3336F Fungicide prevents and controls turf diseases and the diseases of annual and perennial flowers, bedding plants, foliage plants, ground covers, and deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs. It is not specifically labeled for pink rot on palms so we cannot provide evidence of effective prevention or control. We recommend that you consult with your local cooperative extension office Master Gardener for alternate options.

    Q
How many tablespoons of Cleary 3336F should be mixed with 1 gal of water to teat gray leaf spot?
    A
    Good Evening Mr. Jones,

Thank you for your interest with Do My Own.com, we are happy to assist you today!

Yes, you will use 4-6 oz. of product per 1000 square feet. This will mix in 1-2 gallons of water. Be sure to remember the amount of product is what is important when using Clearys 3336F Fungicide. Water acts as a carrier, however, you do need to use a sufficient amount of water to get the product in the area. Please let us know any other ways we can help. Have a great weekend, stay safe!

    Kind Regards,

  • Asked by Antonio from Miami, Florida
    03/31/2021
    Q
Can 3336F Fungicide be tank mixed with propiconazole?
If so, do I need to modify the doses of either product?
    A

Typically when treating for diseases you want to rotate your fungicides every other treatment or every two treatments. While tank mixing and applying Clearys 3336F and Propiconazole together can be done if you feel it’s needed due to the severity of the disease in your lawn, you likely will get better results by just rotating between the two every 14 days based on label instructions and the mix rates for your disease.

I am treating bent grass. For preventitive, how much would I mix for 1 gallon?
I was told 1 ounce for a gallon. Can you confirm this?
    A
Although we have started carrying herbicides due to popular request from our customers, grass and lawns are not our area of expertise.  Therefore we are not giving advice yet on Herbicides as we are not the experts.  We recommend calling the manufacturer Cleary Chemical.  They can be reached at 1-800-524-1662.

  • Asked by Rick from Oakland Park, Fl
    12/29/2015
    Q
Can Clearys 3336F Fungicide be used for treating Ixora Nora Grants?
Nora Grants trunks splitting and plants die off. Extension service has not got back with me on what this is caused. Research back to 2006 indicates systemic fungus and iron deficiency.
    A

While Clearys 3336F Fungicide does not list your specific plant on the product label, it is generally safe to use on most ornamentals. We encourage you to have the problem identified before applying fungicides so that you can apply the best product for the disease, if there is one. Ixora are acid-loving plants, so be sure you are pruning properly and using fertilizer specific for acid-loving plants, such as FoxFarm Happy Frog Acid Loving Plants Organic Fertilizer (6-4-4).
