The Crabgrass Control Plus 0 - 0 - 7 with 0.37% Prodiamine Herbicide rate will depend on the amount of nitrogen you need to apply per application per year.
We recommend using a soil analysis test kit or taking a sample of your soil to your local cooperative extension office so your soil can be analyzed to determine what nutrients your soil is lacking. The healthiest, hardiest lawns are fertilized 2-4 times per year, fall, summer, early spring and late spring.
How long Crabgrass Control Plus 0 - 0 - 7 with 0.37% Prodiamine Herbicide lasts anywhere from 3-12 months depending on the rate at which it was applied.
Unfortunately, we do not have the spreader settings for the Crabgrass Control Plus 0 - 0 - 7 with 0.37% Prodiamine Herbicide with the Scott’s Drop Spreader and the manufacturer does not list that spreader on their bag. Due to the thousands of granules on the market and just as many different types of spreaders, you will want to calibrate your spreader to the product you are using and its application rates. You can see a short video on how to accomplish this below.
