    Q
How much water do you add to 1.6 oz pack of Criterion 75 WSP?
I have two acres of lawn that need be sprayed for grub and how much of dry product do I need to buy so I can adequately cover the full two acres?
    A

The coverage area of 1 envelope of Criterion 75 WSP will depend entirely on the type of pest you are treating and the area that is being treated.  Here are some general guidelines:

There are 4 x 1.6 oz water soluble packets in each envelope.

For Turf grass-:  1.6 oz (1 packet) per 8,250 sq ft to 11,000 sq ft.

For Foliar applications of trees, shrubs: 1.6 oz (1 packet) per 300 gal water

For Systemic applications of trees:  1.6 (1 packet) per 24-48 cumulative inches trunk diameter

For Systemic applications of shrubs: 1.6 (1 packet) per 24-48 cumulative feet shrub height

    Q
I just purchased your Criterion 75 WSP
... and wanted to confirm what I read below. I can use 1.4 level teaspoons per inch of tree diameter and mix that with 1 pint to 1 gallon of water per inch. If understood correctly I really don't have to mix the entire 1.6 oz pouch at once. Is the powder homogeneous enough for me to mix like this (versus the whole pouch). Thanks
    A
There is no way to accuratly mix down each Criterion 75 WSP Systemic Insecticide pack. You would need to use the whole pouch. You should apply 1 pouch or 1.6 oz of criterion for every 24 to 48 inches of trunk diameter.  You should apply the pouch in at least 10 gallons of water to apply the drench.  It really does not matter how much water you use, it just matters how much product you are applying over the area.  The more water you apply it with the deeper the ground will soak it up.

    Q
Can this product be shipped to Ontario for Ash tree EAB control?
    A
We only ship to US addresses at this time.  Some of our Canadian customers know someone in the US who forwards the product to them, or they send it to a UPS or mail store on the US side and pick it up.

    Q
    Root Drench Range
The instructions provide a range for root drench on shrubs of 26-48 cumaltive shrub height. Why is their a range? Does the lower range (26') indicate a higher dosage? Would you apply a higher dosage for specific insects?
    A
The manufacturers of most product allow a range of usage rates so that applicators can choose to use a higher usage rate for hardier insects (whitefly, boring beetles) and for a longer lasting residual. You can use the lower usage rate for easier to kill insects or when a shorter residual is desired.
