    Apply Crossbow Specialty Herbicide - 2, 4-D & Triclopyr at least 10-15 ft away from a well. That will ensure it does not enter the well water.

    I live in Iowa and have a mixture of Fescues, Ryegrass, and Bluegrass. How does Crossbow compare to Speedzone?
    I am trying to get rid of creeping Charlie and would like a all-in-one mix for violets, thistle and ground ivy/creeping Charlie. Speed zone seems to be having an issue with the creeping Charlie. I was wondering if this would do a better overall job?

    Crossbow Specialty Herbicide - 2, 4-D & Triclopyr is not labeled to be used on home lawns and would not be safe to use as it could harm the mix of grasses you have.  Speedzone is safe for lawns and labeled for ground ivy and should do a good job on it.

    We sell pine straw off are land and looking for stuff to kill all the under brush but not hurt the pines

    Can I use Crossbow Specialty 2, 4-D & triclopyr on switchgrass and tall bluestem grasses?
    I planted switchgrass and going to be planting shortly big bluestem grass, once the grassed germinate and begin growing, can I use Crossbow Specialty to kill the weeds to help the grasses to get established?
    A

    Crossbow will not harm established pasture grasses if applied according to the labeled rates.  Do not use on newly seeded grasses until the grasses have developed a good root system and is tillering. The label also states do not reseed pastures within a minimum of 3 weeks after treatment.

    Can I apply Crossbow Specialty on lawn for yellow wood sorrel-oxalis and not kill the existing turfgrass?

    Please let us know what type of turfgrass you will applying the product to so we are able to offer you a specific product and provide treatment advice. Crossbow is labeled to treat oxalis.

    Is Crossbow Specialty Herbicide 2,4-D & Triclopyr the product you would recommend for aggressive vines?
    Have a variety of ivy and vines and need to kill them and replant later if desired. Presently cannot control.

    Crossbow Specialty Herbicide 2,4-D & Triclopyr is not labeled for vines. Using a product such as Fertilome Brush Killer and Stump Killer gives you a broad range of target weeds, vines and woody brush. For best results when treating vines such as poison oak, poison ivy, etc. that grow on or around desirable plants, cut the vine first and treat by applying undiluted product directly to the stems of the vine using paint brush to get full coverage.  As a foliar treatment, mix 8-16 tablespoons per gallon of water for every 500 sq. Please let us know if we can assist you any further.

    Is Crossbow Specialty Herbicide effective on Ilex vomitoria/yaupon?
    taking over the property! Cut it, burn it, pull it out of the ground, and it keeps coming back! It burns like a Christmas tree with diesel on it! Worried about lightning and fires!

    Crossbow Specialty Herbicide is not labeled to control yaupon (Ilex vomitoria). Remedy Ultra Herbicide is labeled for yaupon holly and should do a good job when used as directed on the product label.  Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester Ultra contains the same active ingredient at a lower cost if smaller areas need treatment.

    Will Crossbow kill daylilies?

    Crossbow Specialty Herbicide - 2, 4-D & Triclopyr does not list that it will control daylilies, but it is possible it could harm it.  You should avoid applications/allowing drift to contact if these are desirable.

    Can I use the Crossbow Specialty Herbicide on my fescue lawn to get rid of wild violets and other invasive weeds?
    A

    Crossbow is not supposed to harm established grasses and should pose no threat on your Fescue grass according to the manufacturer.  This being said, we always recommend treating a small area first to test the results as the product is only labeled to be applied on rangeland and permanent grass pastures, but not to residential lawns.  As long as your grass is not stressed by drought and it is healthy the grass will not be harmed.  For applying over grasses, you need to make sure you apply at the recommended levels on the product label.

    We do carry Fertilome Weed Free Zone and it is labeled for wild violet and for use in Fescue lawns.  This product is labeled to be applied to residential lawns and is a little more cost effective as well.

    Can I use Crossbow Specialty Herbicide on my lawn to kill creeping charlie?

    Crossbow Specialty Herbicide is for use on rangeland, pastures, roadsides, and similar non-crop areas, but not labeled for use on residential lawns. BK-32 is a brush killer than can be use on many kinds of residential turfgrass.
