Hi, the can warns about getting the product on skin, in eyes or inhaling. Do I need a mask, goggles, gloves? We're fighting pantry moths in a walk in pantry.

When applying D-Force it would be best to wear chemical resistant gloves, goggles, and a respirator mask if applying in areas with no ventilation.

    Q
Is it safe to use D-force when pregnant? I am currently in my third trimester (8 months pregnant).
    A
D-Force is a very safe product, but the smell may be an issue since pregnant woman typically have heightened senses.  You may want to have someone else apply the product and return after the smell has subsided.  Once the product has dried there should be no issues with being in the area that was treated.  These products are only strong enough to kill tiny insects.

While D-Force HPX should not stain surfaces the label does state that you should test first for staining on an inconspicuous place prior to use.

    Q
What can I use for webbing moths in carpets?
    A

For webbing moths, we would recommend using D-Force Insecticide. This can be broadcast across your carpet and can be used every 30 days as needed. It is also recommended that you use moth traps in your home as well. We do offer both of these items toghether in our Pantry Pest Kit

    Q
Can we use D-Force HPX to kill bed bugs while traveling?
We'll be doing extensive travelling in Europe, frequenting different hotels and hostels as we go. Not all accommodations are well reviewed and we don't know of a website that tracks bed bug infestations in the countries we're going to. We are looking for a product that will kill bed bugs on contact and will offer us some protection for at least two or three days before we move on. Would you recommend D-Force HPX for this, or another product?
    A
You can use D-Force HPX when traveling to help with bedbugs but you should not rely on the product as your only defense. D-Force HPX, like most other insecticides, takes time to kill off bedbugs that contact treated areas and will not be able to prevent 100% of bedbug bites. Bedbugs that are sprayed directly should die within a very short amount of time. You should thoroughly inspect each place you will be staying for bedbugs or evidence of bedbugs. If you do see a current infestation you should ask to be put in a different room or stay in a different hotel. Please take a few minutes to read our article How to Avoid Bedbugs in Hotels.

D-Force Aerosol and most other aerosol sprays should be used within 1-2 years of purchase for best results.

    Q
How do I get rid of carpet beetles? I have two small children and a cat.
We have seen them in the kitchen and master bath on the linoleum, and have been vacuuming the carpet every few days. I have also sprayed the outside of the house around the doors and windows with an over the counter Bayer product.
    A
The main thing you should do is a thorough inspection to see if you can find any infested items. If you do find infested items it will be necessary to thoroughly clean the area or dispose of the infested item and treat the cracks and crevices with a residual spray such as D-Force HPX. Q
I recently bought the Pantry pest kit with the Cy-kick aerosol to treat cigarette beetles.
It seems to be working. I'm almost running out and wanted to reorder. But now I have discovered that I may have pantry moths too because I've been catching them in the traps. I've caught 15 in the past 3 weeks. Anyway, is D-force a better spray for this? And I'm also noticing ants in my bathroom and wanted to treat that too. Would D-force be better for all these pest? Or should I just stick with Cy-kick? And which one has a less harsh smell?
    A

Cy-Kick would be a great product to stick with for the pantry pests and would have less of an odor than D-Force HPX.  We have a great article on How To Get Rid of Pantry Moths.

Our Complete Ant Kit would be better for treating the ants because it would kill off the entire colony vs just want contacts an area treated with Cy-Kick or that are sprayed directly with it.
