There are several reasons your grass is yellow but snails are not typically the culprit. If you are having trouble with snails, the Hi-Yield Improved Slug & Snail Bait would be a great option. As for the grass turning yellow, we would recommend doing a soil analysis to see if the soil is missing any nutrients that could be turning the grass yellow.
