The purpose of the EZ Klean Rodent Bait Station is to guide rodents to the bait area of the station, providing a protected place for them to feed. Once a rodent has taken a lethal dose of bait, it will die within the next few days. We do not recommend baiting for rodents inside the home, since they could crawl into a tight space to die, and the resulting smell of decomposing carcass is quite unpleasant. However, if you are baiting outdoors as recommended, the rodent will likely go back to it's burrow to die.
