We have never had any complaints about 565 Plus XLO Aerosol ruining any fabrics.  That being said, we always recommend with any kind of pesticide or cleaning product that you want to use on a sofa, chair, etc, that you first apply it in the back or in a inconspicuous area first to make sure it is safe before you apply it in more noticeable areas.
