Bonide Weed Beater Complete is labeled to suppress lawn burweed as a post-emergent, but not sandbur/sandspur. So you first need to determine exactly which plant(s) you are targeting since these will require different active ingredients. If you need a product labeled to control lawn burweed, you may use a product such as Fertilome Weed Free Zone instead. Please be sure to review the product label for more information, complete application instructions, and to be sure your grass type will be tolerable.If you are targeting sandbur/sandspur, then we need to know the kind of turgrass you have to know if there is a product that will work as a selective post-emergent for you. You may use a pre emergent such as Pendulum 2G Herbicide to prevent both sandbur and lawn burweed from coming up in the future. You may view the full product label here.
