While the product label for Evergreen Pyrethrum Dust 1% does not specifically list brown recluse spiders, this product is a non-selective insecticide and will kill and insects and similar pests that come into contact with enough of the active ingredient. Just keep in mind that dusts are not a knockdown kill. Our Spider Control Kit would be a great choice for additional products to control brown recluse and other spiders, as well as the insects that spiders will hunt. This kit includes Temprid SC, a residual insecticide concentrate; CB-80, an aerosol that kills pests on contact; and glue boards to help catch and monitor crawling pests.
