Insect Growth Regulators only stop the growth cycle of listed insects and do not kill insects when used alone, they need to be tank mixed with an insecticide concentrate labeled for that target insect. While Gentrol IGR Concentrate is labeled for stored products insects, it does not specifically for weevils. Nyguard IGR is labeled for various species of weevils and can be tank mixed with Suspend SC Insecticide to treat along cracks and crevices in cupboards, cabinets, storage areas, along baseboards, etc.
