Down To Earth All Natural Fertilizer Starter Mix 3 - 3 - 3 is an excellent option for young plants and seeds. A mild fertilizer with 3% nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Provides secondary nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, sulfur, and iron which are essential to young plants and seedlings. Formulated with 4 species of endomycorrhizae to be mixed in the soil to reach the root zone. Starter Mix 3 - 3 - 3 is derived from all-natural ingredients including alfalfa meal, fishbone meal, langbeinite, oyster shell, ground basalt, feather meal, humates, and kelp meal which are all beneficial to the soil.

Vegetable Gardens and Flower Beds: To prepare new gardens, apply 1/4-1/2 cup per square foot and thoroughly mix into the top 3 inches of soil. For new transplants, add 1-2 tablespoon per hole, mix into soil and water in well. For seeding, apply 1/4 cup per linear row foot and mix into soil.
Outdoor Containers: For new plantings, add 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil or 1 cup per cubic foot and mix thoroughly. For established plants, add 2-4 tablespoon per gallon of soil when transplanting.
Trees and Shrubs: For new plants or transplants, prepare a transplant hole and mix 1-3 cups with the backfill soil. Use amended soil to fill in around the new plant and water in well.
