Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules is an all-natural formula made with oils of lemongrass, mint and garlic oil to naturally repel mosquitos. It is biodegradable, poison free and emits a mild odor that repels mosquitos away from the protected area. It can be quickly applied with the built-in sprinkler cap or pair with a fertilizer sprinkler. Apply every 2 to 3 weeks outside around home, lawn, garden, patio or pools. It is effective in an hour and yields 3,000 to 4,000 sq. ft. This product comes in a 5 lb. jug.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules is an easy to apply product that can be used around homes, lawns, pools, campsites, patio and pcinic areas to effectively repel mosquitoes. When applied as directed, this product is ideal for minimizing mosquito activity and is great for use around people, pets, and plants.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For outdoor use only. Lightly sprinkle Mosquito Repelling Granules over the entire area to be occupied. This container will cover approcimately 3,000 - 4,000 square feet. Product begins to work within an hour after application. It is best to apply the product early after dew has dried (a.m.) and when there is little to no breeze present. Do not water area for 48 hours after application.

Your directions say to keep moisture off the area treated for 48 hours. What about watering the lawn weekly or a torrential rainstorm (we've had some of these lately). Do you need to reapply after these circumstances?
The manufacturer of Dr. T's Mosquito Repelling Granules does state not to water area for 48 hours after application, as this could certainly reduce the effectivity of the active ingredients, which means you may need to reapply the product if the treatment are gets wet within that timeframe.
