Absolute Necessity

This is an incredible product for counteracting the effects of “hard” water and herbicide efficacy. Prior to researching my water pH I was having trouble obtaining kills on pest plants and weeds around my home and property. I read an article from the University of Nebraska that outlined the chemical interplay between ions present in “hard” water and how they can bind and entrap elements of herbicide s, thus reducing their efficiency. All that to say this liquid form of AMS is easy to measure, dispense and invaluable for boosting the efficiency of the herbicide being used, thus accomplishing the same goals with less product used. Less product is better for my wallet, the environment and efficiency of my operation by having to do fewer applications to achieve the same result. I’m a believer in this product and have had nothing but positive experiences dealing with DoMyOwn over several years; thank you.

The product label for Drexel AMS Supreme states: 2.5 gallons of this product per 100 gallons of spray solution (2.5% v/v) will provide 8.5 pounds of dry ammonium sulfate equivalent plus the optimum level (8 ounces) of HPG polymer technology.
This breaks down to approx 3.2 oz per gallon of water

Unfortunately Drexel AMS Supreme does not give a per 1k rate. It states to use 2.5 gallons (320 oz) in 100 gallons which would break down to 3.2 oz per gallon.

Can this be mixed with Prodamine WDG?
Drexel AMS Supreme is a surfactant that is intended to be used with a post-emergent herbicide. No need to use it with a pre-emergent such as Prodamine WDG.
