    How long after applying Imitator Plus before I can allow cattle back out to graze?
    A

    Per the product label, when using Drexel Imitator Plus in a pasture, after a broadcast application you will need to wait up to 8 weeks to allow livestock to graze again. If you're going to spot treat, you will need to wait up to 14 days to let your livestock graze in the treated areas.

    Will Drexel Imitator Plus kill buttercup flowers in the pasture?
    A

    Drexel Imitator Plus uses the same active ingredient as RoundUp - 41% Glyphosate which kills anything that is sprayed directly including grasses.  It was not labeled for use in pastures.

    My husbamnd had a senior moment and sprayed Drexel Imitator Plus on hay field.
    Though he was only killing weeds. Spots are turning yellow. Do we have to plow field and reseed? Some areas seem fine, if we let horses out in field will it effect them?

    Per the product labelDrexel Imitator Plus can be used for Pasture or Hay crop renovation: When applied as a broadcast spray, this product controls the annual and perennial weeds listed in this label prior to planting forage grasses or legumes. Remove domestic livestock before application and wait 8 weeks after application before grazing or harvesting.

    How many oz of Drexel Imitator Plus per gallon of water should I mix to kill clover and bur butter cup
    A

    You will use 0.28-1.5 oz. of Drexel Imitator Plus per gallon of water. Typically, one gallon of finished solution covers about 1000 sq ft. It is non-selective so it will kill anything sprayed directly. Please refer to the product label for complete application instructions.

    Can I add Thistledown (clopyralid) to Imitator Plus to better kill thistles?
    A

    Yes, Monterey Thistledown can be tank mixed with other herbicides such as Drexel Imitator Plus (RoundUp - 41% Glyphosate) per the product label.

    Most Glyphosate herbicides may be tank-mixed with other herbicides to provide residual weed control, a broader weed control spectrum or an alternate mode of action. Always read and follow product label directions for all products in the tank mixture. Use according to the most restrictive precautionary statements for each product in the mixture. Any labeled rate of this product may be used in a tank mix, just make sure the mixture product label allows the specific application.

    How many ounces of Drexel Imitator Plus per gallon of water for spraying soybeans?
    A

    Drexel Imitator Plus is applied at the rate of 1.33-2 fl oz (1-1.5%) per gallon of water for soybeans.

    For spot treatment to soybeans, applications in growing crops must be made prior to initial pod set in Soybeans and there is a PHI time frame of 7 days. Please review the Soybeans Section of the product label on page 14 for more information.

    How to use Drexel Imitator Plus around farm ponds
    A

    Caution should be used when applying Drexel Imitator Plus near bodies of water, and an appropriate buffer zone should be maintained to prevent any drift from the application  contacting the water. You should not apply within 25 ft of bodies of water. You can refer to the product label for application instructions, and use as directed.

    Will Drexel limitator plus kill alfalfa
    A

    Drexel Imitator Plus is labeled for alfalfa. Per the product label, if weeds have been mowed or tilled, do not treat until plants have resumed active growth and have reached the recommended stages. Repeat treatments may be necessary to control weeds regenerating from underground parts or seed. Repeat treatments must be made prior to crop emergence. 

    Alfafa: Apply 1 quart of this product per acre plus 0.5 to 1% nonionic surfactant by total spray volume in 3 to 10 gallons of water per acre. Make application after the last hay cutting in the Fall. Allow Alfalfa to regrow to a height of 6 to 8 inches or more prior to treatment. Application should be followed with deep tillage at least 7 days after treatment, but before soil freeze-up.

    Can I use Drexel Imitator Plus on weeds in my soybeans if the beans are round up ready?
    A

    Drexel Imitator Plus is labeled for roundup ready crops including soybeans.  You should avoid contact with anything desirable that is not RoundUp Ready as it could injure them.

    Where is the best place to store Drexel Imitator Plus after the application?
    A

    You should store Drexel Imitator Plus and other similar pesticides in an area out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (below freezing or above 90 degrees consistently), and out of reach of children and pets. The shelf life of the product is 2-3 years when stored correctly.

    How long should I wait to mow after applying Drexel Imitator Plus?
    I spray around the edges of my home to kill a few inches of grass to reduce on weed eating. I'm concerned about residue on the wheels of my mower getting tracked on the good lawn and killing it.

    You should not mow treated areas for 2-3 days after application of Drexel Imitator Plus
