    A

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is mixed at a rate of 1 to 2 fluid ounces (2 to 4 tbsp.) of this product in 1 to 2.5 gallons of water for application to a total area of 1,000 square feet.

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is best applied when no rain is expected within 24 hours of application so it has time to completely dry.

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus was only labeled to be used on Cotton, Golf courses and Sod farms, and Highway Rights-of-Way.  It was not labeled to be used on homes lawns containing fescue or bermuda.  Dismiss Nxt is an option for dallisgrass safe for both bermuda and fescue.

    I want to spray MSMA but the night time temps are low like 52 deg, but during the day the temps are 75.
    Should I mix it little hot 2 oz per gallon of Water to offset cool night temps? Instead of 1.5 oz per gallon

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus states on the product label: "Best results are obtained on young, actively growing weeds at air temperatures above 70°F." We would recommend applying it during the day when the temperatures are a little warmer. The product will have time to dry before the temperature falls too low. Do not apply during extreme temperatures. We would not recommend over applying the product by mixing it heavier. Please be sure to follow the instructions on the product label to make your application.

    Per the Drexel MSMA 6 Plus label:  Keep children and pets out of the treated area until sprays have dried.  Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is only labeled to be used on Cotton, Golf courses and Sod farms, and Highway Rights-of-Way.  It is not labeled to be used on homes lawns.

    Can Drexel MSMA 6 Plus be used on a centipede lawn?

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is not labeled to be used on Carpetgrass, Centipedegrass or to Dichondra turfgrass. MSMA is also not for use on home lawns of any kind.

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is best applied when no rain is expected within 24 hours of application so it has time to completely dry.  At least 4-6 hours of no rain after could be ok depending on how heavy it rains.

    Can Drexel MSMA 6 Plus be used on St Augustine grass?
    A

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus can ONLY be used on St. Augustine in commercial sod production sites and not for residential lawns. Per the product label for use in sod farms, the last application can be made 4 to 5 weeks prior to lifting the sod for harvest to allow full recovery before lifting. The product label advises that St. Augustinegrass sod will be temporarily discolored following application and DO NOT apply to freshly mowed St. Augustinegrass sod.

    If Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is applied to a pasture, how long until animals can graze the treated area?

    Drexel MSMA 6 Plus is not labeled to be used in pastures, so it would not be recommended safe to do so at all. If the pasture has already been sprayed, please contact the manufacturer directly for further information as this herbicide is not labeled for grazing.     How long does Drexel MSMA 6 Plus normally take to show results?
    A

    You will notice chlorosis/discoloration of the plant leaves within a few days of applying Drexel MSMA 6 Plus, but it may take up to 14 days for complete control. If needed a second application can be applied 1-3 weeks following the intitial application.
