    Q
Can Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer be mixed with Surge Broadleaf Herbicide?
Can i mix Drive XLR8 with Surge Broadleaf Herbicide for turf in my 20 gal tank?? Thank U
    A

We would not recommend mixing Surge Broadleaf Herbicide and Drive XLR8 Herbicide in the same tank. Per the label of Surge Herbicide, this product should not be mixed with a surfactant because it will damage your turf grass. Drive XLR8 requires one.

    Q
Does Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer kill japanese stilt grass and/or moss?
Does Drive XLR8 kill japanese stilt grass and/or moss? I want to kill stiltgrass but not the moss,
    A

Unfortunately, Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer is not labeled to kill Japanese stiltgrass. We would recommend a product like Bonide Over the Top II Grass Killer instead. This would not damage the non-grass ornamental plants you have while taking care of the stiltgrass when use based on the product label

    A

  • Asked by David from Oh
    09/04/2022
    Q
What is the application rate for Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer if using a 20 gallon sprayer to treat 1.5 acres?
    https://www.domyown.com/prime-source-duo-stick-p-12239.html
    A

Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer is applied at 64 fl oz per acre in atleast 20 gallons of water per acre (1.45 fl oz in 0.5 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft) with a low pressure sprayer at 20 to 40 psi. A methlyated seed oil surfactant such as Duo Stick is needed for best results.

For treating 1.5 acres (65,340 sq ft), it will take a total of 96 fl oz of Drive XLR8 + 46.5 tbsps of a MSO Surfactant (1.5 tbsp per gallon of water) using no less than 31 gallons of water.

*Using 0.5 gallons water per 1000 sq ft is the minimum water volume recommended for adequate distribution of the herbicide. Water is only acting as the carrier therefore weather it takes 0.5 gallons or 1.5 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq ft does not matter, as long as you evenly and thoroughly cover the area.

    Q
Any idea on best way to remove dead crabgrass after treating with Drive XLR8 Herbicide Crabgrass Killer?
Product seems to be working, now I have to remove dead crabgrass, looking for ideas/suggestions.
    A

Depending on the quantity and density of the dead grasses, you can remove dead plant material by hand pulling, hand digging with a spade, or by tilling if it is a very large area without desirable grasses. Be sure that the root system is completely dead of you are hand pulling treated areas.
