    Q
Is there a difference between Charger Basic, Dual Magnum, and Pennant Magnum?
They all appear to be identical S-Metolachlor 83.7%
    A

The Dual Magnum and Charger Basic have similar labeling for use areas and mix rates,  however the Pennant Magnum- while the same active ingredient and percentage- is not safe for use in any crop areas and can only be used in residential and commercial landscape settings as dictated on its product label. You would need to reference the product label of the one you think you'd like to use to ensure it can be applied where and how you need it for your application without harming the existing plants. The digital product label for each is located under the "Product Documents" section of the product page.

    Q
How is Dual Magnum different from Pennant Magnum?
Both labels state that they contain 83.7% S-metolachlor. Both are about the same price. But Dual Magnum is 2.5 gallons compared to 1.0 gallon Pennant Magnum. Is Pennant Magnum the same product for less money, or am I missing something?
    A

While the Dual Magnum and the Pennant Magnum have the same active ingredient and percentage, they have different use sites on their product labels.

Dual Magnum Herbicide is soley for crop application sites while Pennant Magnum cannot be used in any crop areas and for residential/commercial landscape settings. Please note, Dual Magnum is now discontinued and no longer available.

Please view the product label for application rates and more information.
