Durvet Lamb and Kid Colostrum Powder is a nutritional supplement powder that supplies dried colostrum milk, live (viable) naturally occurring microorganisms, and essential vitamins to newborn goats and sheep. Its colostrum blend provides a great source of protein and maternal antibodies which are vital for their growth and development. It contains Lactobacillus organisms which help establish beneficial microflora in newborns to keep their gut healthy. These organisms produce L. acid which helps reduce pH level in the small intestine and eliminate the proliferation of coliform bacteria which may cause diseases. This soluble powder formulation also provides important trace minerals to ensure good health in newborn goats and sheep in the most economical way.
