I have been paying a mosquito-control company $60 per application. The guy who sprays says he uses pyrethrum spray plus a nectar that mosquitoes like to eat. A treatment is effective for 3-4 weeks. Without treatment, our back yard is uninhabitable. I'd like to do the treatment myself to save money. I have a Stihl blower-sprayer like the one he uses. I do not want a long residual, and would spray late in the day to avoid killing the bees that pollinate my vegetable garden. What insecticide(s) do I need?
So, are you wanting something to use in an edible garden as well? You may want to use Bonide Bug Beater Lawn Garden Fog. This product is safe in edible gardens and yards, because it does not leave a residue.
