    Q
Is E-2 Herbicide the same as Escalade 2?
I have a Bermuda Tall Fescue mixed yard with a lot of Virginia Buttonweed. How much product per gallon should should be used?
    A
We apologize, we are not familiar with Escalade and cannot accurately compare it to E-2 Herbicide  E-2 is labeled to treat for Virginia Buttonweed. You would mix approx. 1 oz per gallon of water over 1000 sq. feet. This broken down from label instructions for E-2 herbicide for control of broadleaf weeds in non-crop lands, mix 2 to 5 pints per acre in adequate water to thoroughly saturate all weeds with spray mixture.

    Q
Is E-2 Herbicide better than Trimec?
How is this compared to Trimec post-emerg? I'm having difficulty finding recent discussion or QA on it. According to the slip, this is what TruGreen is using now, tank mixed with Barricade and fertilizer.
    A

E-2 Herbicide is a three-way herbicide which contains 2,4-D, fluroxypyr, and Dicamba. Most other Trimec or 3-way herbicides do not contain fluroxypyr, so using E-2 Herbicide instead can help reduce the risk of herbicide resistance and give you better success with hard-to-kill weeds like brush and vines. Barricade is a pre-emergent herbicide, so that can be mixed with post-emergent as needed in Spring and Fall.
